Sketched E.M.Forster last night. Currently going through Howards End. Forster’s prose is so beautifully crafted and witty, it’s breathtaking. That eventless opening chapter of A Passage to India gets better with each reading. Funnybooks are naturally well suited to convey stillness (I wrote something about it in regards to Paul Moves Out earlier),the closest thing I can think of is Seth’s opening of Clyde Fans—it sets the mood, the pacing and overall atmosphere for the whole book and it’s a beauty on its own.
Also, thanks to everyone who commissioned me drawings & bought comics on bigcartel, it took me a while to get through the orders, but they’re all in the mail now!
