I just really hate shaving and often go like that for a bit, but then give up for some interview or other. (So many questions in one… my apologies, Sir. > . < ) In comics/illustration it’s usually from literature, couldn’t care less about “real life.” Psychic Detective was mainly lifted from Joyce, Huysmans, Waugh, Parker & more obscure stuff. A lot of ideas come out of nowhere to be honest or from talking to myself in the shower. For dumb straightforward pictures of fashunable girls looking bored I’m usually inspired by my crippling loneliness.
